“If anyone want a particular wedding…
Even the most skeptic and moderate guests enjoyed the wedding – not forgetting about my American friends.

You gave us a life-long memorable experience on our Great Day.

Thank You!”

Bilingual wedding near Balaton – with 150 international guests and Huba master of ceremony

‘Huba was the “screamer” for our wedding this August in Lake Balaton, and we can’t thank him enough! I’m American and my husband is Hungarian – we call Huba the “screamer” because during my first Hungarian wedding for a friend a few years back, I kept asking why the Master of Ceremonies kept screaming at everyone!

Huba was fantastic. He spent time and energy thinking and planning with us by phone while we were in New York, offering important suggestions that, in the end, made the wedding feel organized, smooth and easy. He kept things organized time-wise, so my husband and I did not have to think about what happens next, we just waited for Huba’s announcements, always preceded by the opening of his huge rainbow umbrella, such as the ceremony, dinner, speeches, dances, cake time, midnight snack, etc.  We had a very non-traditional wedding in a large open field with friends from all over the world. Huba was very open to our ideas and very willing to help us incorporate our own ways of making the wedding meaningful, such as leading a procession of guests to the ceremony place among the trees, participating in a beautiful serenade by friends in a choir – Huba both sang and played a ukelele – and, doing a fantastic job of making announcements in both Hungarian and English.

Huba made sure to incorporate the guests into the wedding events so they all could participate, including the 30 children of all ages, such as joining in the signing, carrying flowers for the children, and dancing. Many guests approached us to say Huba was great – very funny, fun, energetic, and he kept the party going!

Our wedding was magical, free, natural and full of love. Huba helped to make this happen, and we sincerely thank you!’

  2. Andrea and Tamás szerint:

    Hello,

We are looking for someone who can help us be a master of ceremonies and a “fake” officer for our upcoming wedding on Sunday 28 August 2016 in Budapest.

We are a Costa Rican-Hungarian couple who will be having a small and informal wedding (around 50 pax) and are in dire need of a multilingual master of ceremonies.

Since we are having the ceremony on a Sunday, we are looking for someone who can help us direct a “fake” ceremony in English and Hungarian for our guests. We are planning to read each other vows in English and have our mothers read them to everyone in Spanish and Hungarian. Also we would like to include them and other family members in sharing blessings to us and words to the guests in both languages. For this we need somebody who speaks at least English and Hungarian who will help us organize and arrange everything.

We would like to keep it informal and relaxed, however the master of ceremonies will be the backbone who can help us put together a nice event.

The wedding will take place in the V District, in the Petőfi Irodalmi Múzeum. We plan to start the ceremony at 3:30pm, then have dinner, photos and dancing until around 7:30pm.

This is the first time we are doing this, therefore we need help and guidance! We would appreciate all the information you could provide us.

    Kind regards,

    Andrea and Tamás

    • Dear Andrea and Tamás!
Thank you for your kind request.
On the mentioned Day I can help you át least in English and Hungarian (and very few kind words in Spanish:) ), só I sent you an e-mail, and let’s talk about the details.
      Les ayudaré con mucho gusto!
      Abrazos,
      Huba
